StarCraft II beta keys have been sent out.
Be careful, a lot of people got scamed. In order to be sure that you will not share that fate, just follow these simple steps:
- If you received an email saying that you have been invited to StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, do not open any link in that e-mail
- Typing battle.net in your browser will take you to the secure site appropriate for your region
- Enter account Information
- Go to Manage My Games, choose Add or Upgrade a Game
- Enter the Beta Key you received in the e-mail
- Press Add Game
If you were able to add the game to your library, then you received a real beta invite.
If the email tells you to go someplace else for the beta key or the key provided did not work, then you received a phishing email.

Brand new Battle.net

Blizzard kept it’s word and launched the new and improved version of Battle.net .From now on you will only need one account, to manage all your Blizzard games, including World of Warcraft.
Right now you can’t use many of the functions of this new account, for the simple reason that the games that use it are not out yet. The current versions of Diablo, StarCraft and Warcraft will continue to use the old Battle.net .
But there are benefits of using the new Battle.net account you can take advantage of, right now like registering your Blizzard games, and once registered you can download those games for free. There is also an option to register for beta-tests for new Blizzard games. Who knows ? maybe you’ll get invited to test the new Diablo 3 or StarCraft 2.

The most important patch since the launch of Wrath of the Litch King is almost at the starting line. Some of the announced changes are: tier 8 armor sets, legendary weapons, dual talent specs and the ability of mounts to swim. There will also be a brand new event in two parts: the Argent Tournament with mounted combat and a coliseum battle, bringing with it new rewards and achievements for those hoping to build their Argent Crusade faction.
This post could be the equivalent of “Cocaine, now three times as enjoyable and longer lasting” so we apologize to the reformed addicts.

If you planed to play Starcraft 2 or maybe Diablo 3 this year at E3…I have to disappoint you, Blizzard won’t be there, including their proprieties. Probably you can catch them this year at Games Convention or Gamescom in Germany. They probably wont be at E3 because BlizzCon covers the US…so why bother. You can read more on GiantBomb.
What’s Blizzard cooking…
Last week Blizzcon ended. As Blizzard sais
“BlizzCon is a celebration of the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises and the communities that surround them.” … or how I say is just another occasion to raise the hype around these franchises just like Blizzard Worldwide Invitation that took place in Paris this summer. There were made a lot of announcements, not all of them to my liking. Let’s start with Diablo 3. A new class was announced, the Wizard. From what I saw in the trailer this class is pretty cool, it’s my favorite till now. Spells like Disintegrate, Electrocute, Magic Missile and Slow Time make this class a lot Read more
