EverQuest Next

everquest next

EverQuest was one of the first MMORPGs and a very good one for that matter, the sequel EverQuest 2 raised to the expectations set by the original, so you imagine why many people have very high hopes for this title.

SOE is taking a different approach with this game in many ways but the most important is linking it with the world building tool EverQuest Next Landmark which will be released before the game. Players have the opportunity to take part in building the world of Norrath which is a parallel world with the world in the other Everquest games… so this would be another big difference from the original. The good part is that it lets the developers to come up with a new story that is not tied to the original, a practice that proved very good in the case of the new Star Trek movies :)

This MMORPG could be the big next MMORPG that everyone is waiting for… cause Elder Scrolls is trying very hard to piss the potential players and I have a feeling that it will partially fail, anyway there are good chances that it will not raise to the hopes so all my confidence goes into Everquest Next for now.
