COD 5: World at War review

If you never played a WW II FPS before or Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare you will find this game great, superb…put here any superlatives that come in your mind. This, not being the case, because I play WW II shooters since Wolfenstein 3D and I played COD 4 too, I’ll not give you this perspective on the game. The important minuses that this game has, are: the same COD 4 game mechanics, the lack of a story and of course…the old, tired WW II setting. Modern Warfare was a breath of fresh air…that’s why it was so Read more

Prince of Persia review

What…you thought this is the actual review… no, no, it’s a news about the review…the game isn’t out yet. It looks like for IGN it doesn’t matter that the game will be out in a week, they published the review anyway. Yeah, I know that publishers sometimes send copies of the game to different game publications or sites before the game is released…but when I see a 9.3 rating out of 10… what can I say, it makes me wonder. It shore looks to me that Ubisoft payed these guys to make a good review to boost their sales. If you read or watch the review you can’t not wonder why the F___ the reviewer gave it a 9.3. He specifically says that the game has some flaws, like it is too simple, too short and others. You can see the review here. Please leave your comments and tell me what you think about this.

After NcSoft announced that Tabula Rasa is on its death bed, today they’ve launched this new MMO in Korea. I’m not a big NcSoft fan but I hope Aion will have success and will not die young like Tabula Rasa. They broke some records in the open beta…over 230.000 people tested it; that can be a good sign. The game will be launched in the first quarter of 2009 in USA and Europe. Till you have a chance playing check out this cool wallpapers.

It’s sad when this happens in the MMO World. After Richard Garriott left Tabula Rasa last week to pursue “new interests.” , Tabula Rasa is leaving us. This is what they say on the official site ” So it is with regret that we must announce that Tabula Rasa will end live service on February 28, 2009. “

They are sticky, they are slimy…some say they are even cute…it’s GOO for most of us. Like I promised this is the review for one of the most interesting, captivating and addictive games I played in years. It’s World of Goo. It looks like you don’t need millions and millions of dollars to make a great game and a good idea sometimes is enough. If in this period when Far Cry 2 , Fallout 3 or Red Alert 3 are out I play World of Goo…well…it says enough. Read more

Real cool game !!

I just found the most fun game I’ve played in a long time. This is what video games should be all about…FUN..that’s why they are called games. Sadly most games are made with only one thing in mind…profit, and the most important element is forgotten. I’ll make a review in a few days so stay close.
